The Barack Obama Song – SEO Style

Ever since Hannah Smith did her SEO.BIO I’ve had a song in my head. If you are a regular listener to the Chris Moyles show on Radio 1 you may know of the “Barack Obama Song” which Chris sung on the show (basically him repeating Barack’s name over Kasabian’s L.S.F).

Here is a snip (courtesy of chrismoyles.net):

So back to Hannah. The song that has been going round in my head is a version of this but, of course, with the words “Hannah Bo Banna” (please forgive my bad singing – I am no singer):

Now with this clearly there are other people in SEO that it could work for and so next I have “Stuart P Turner”

And whilst I’m in the mood, here’s one for “Rebecca Kelley”:

Can you think of any other people in SEO who could fit the same song? Feel free to download the backing track from Vitamin String Quartet’s “Processed Strings” and have a go yourself!

    Genius! The singing SEO, huh?

Although I now have that song stuck on repeat in my head… bad times.

Aha – now you know how I’ve been feeling. You only have yourself to blame for choosing that name.

Ha! Thia is awesome. We don’t have many 5-syllable names here… what about Will-i-am Critch-low?

Hmmm… yeh not sure if that works… too formal. Try singing it with “Rand Fishkin” – I end up saying “fand rishkin”.

Here is a video of Will Smith beatboxing to the original Chris Moyles version. Who would like to beatbox to my SEO version?

wow stephen I knew you were talented but this is ridiculous. (no really its ridiculous).

Not sure if Hannah is doing any conference talks any time soon but if so this should DEFINITELY be the intro music as she walks up to the stage…

Incidentally my name would fit but I dont think I’m worthy of such an honour…Rishi Lakhani, on the other hand would be brilliant :)

Also I’m pretty sure that at one point it would sound like “Sheila” – bonus points…
