Digsby Conversation Spam

I’ve been playing around with Digsby for while at work to test as a replacement for Messenger (which is terrible unless you hack it to remove the adds and MS crap). It is essentially the same but pulls together chat functions from a number of social media networks, as well as updates from social media/email and acts as a Twitter app – handy!

When I logged this morning however this gem appeared:

Spam conversation vai Digsby

Thanks ‘arti17′, I actually hadn’t but I sure will now being a giant fat couch potato. I don’t know whether this is a weakness from Hotmail or Digsby itself but it MAKES ME FURIOUS.

Just thought I’d share.

    A dropped a few pounds in the last couple of weeks also – a pound coin and a few fifty pence. If you see them please return.

    I threw some coppers at a tramp – does that count?

    In Preferences > Privacy, you can set it to allow messages only from those on your buddy list. The preference is separate for each IM account

    @Steve
    Sweet cheers Steve! Are you a Digsby employee? That was impressively fast.
